Alain Fon is the owner and lead mechanic at Roger’s Automotive and Towing, bringing over 20 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles across a wide range of makes, models, and technologies. He oversees all mechanical operations while remaining actively involved in day-to-day repair work, ensuring every vehicle meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.

Alain’s career reflects a true ground-up journey in the automotive industry—starting as a technician and earning ownership through years of dedication, technical excellence, and strong leadership.

Professional Experience

Alain began his career at Roger’s Automotive and Towing as a technician. Through consistent performance, customer trust, and operational leadership, he advanced to become the owner of the business. Today, he leads the shop with a focus on integrity, transparent communication, and long-term vehicle care.

Prior to ownership, Alain built a diverse technical background at:

• Christie’s Service Station (Westport, CT): General automotive service and diagnostics
• Tesla Service Center (Milford, CT): Electric vehicle systems, diagnostics, and manufacturer-specific procedures
• AAMCO Transmissions (Orange, CT): Transmission repair and drivetrain systems

This breadth of experience enables him to confidently service traditional gasoline vehicles, complex transmission systems, and modern electric vehicles.

Sammy

Head of Shop Security & Morale

Shop Security. Treat Inspector. Certified Good Boy.

Sammy takes his role very seriously. As Roger’s Automotive and Towing’s official head of shop security, Sammy is responsible for monitoring suspicious activity, welcoming friendly faces, and supervising all snack-related decisions. He’s on duty full-time, though he does take frequent breaks for naps, sunbathing, and quality control of belly rubs.

While Sammy doesn’t handle tools or repairs, he excels at:

• Alerting the team to delivery trucks
• Keeping morale high during long workdays
• Making sure no one feels like a stranger in the shop



His background includes years of on-the-job experience, an excellent sense of hearing, and a zero-tolerance policy for squirrels near the building.
